January - February 2026 ALP Training Center Enrollment increases to 70 students.  A 6-month mentoring pilot program begins with two students who are learning computer-related skills needed to work in areas such as web design.  Five students prepare to take the TOEFL test which is an English proficiency test required by many universities in 160+ countries across the world. August - December 2025 ALP Training Center, Kabul, Afghanistan A centrally located, in-person training facility is secured and fully equipped with the necessary technology materials and equipment. The center can be accessed by public transportation. The new center is named ALP, Afghan Learning Program. The Afghan Ministry of Education approves ALP and the center receives its license to operate. In-person classes begin in November, 2025. February 2025 - April 2025 Students are matched with English-speaking conversation partners from Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts. Afghan students meet remotely one-on-one with their Regis College peers at least one time per week. Free dental care provided for students and teachers through partner clinics in Kabul, Afghanistan
